Zenchef and Workfeed are now integrated to help restaurants plan smarter schedules, align staffing with demand, and improve cost control.

With reservations flowing directly from Zenchef into Workfeed, you can:

  • Sync reservations automatically to create staff schedules based on expected guest numbers.
  • View daily reservations and guest counts directly within your schedule.
  • Click on a specific day to see reservations broken down by hour.
  • Identify peak periods and track walk-ins.
  • Compare, in real time, guests in the restaurant vs. staff on the floor.

This powerful integration means you get better visibility, leading to better planning. By aligning staffing levels with real demand, teams can optimize labor costs while ensuring seamless service during peak hours.

Lightspeed L-Series: Even Smoother Operations

Our integration with Lightspeed L-Series just got stronger — with automatic synchronization that minimizes manual work and reduces errors across systems. Here’s what’s new:

  • Prepayments and gift cards now sync from Zenchef to Lightspeed.
  • Walk-ins created in Zenchef are automatically synchronized with Lightspeed.
  • When an order is opened in Lightspeed, a walk-in reservation is automatically created in Zenchef.

The result? Reservations, walk-ins, and payments stay consistent across systems, streamlining both front- and back-of-house operations and enabling faster, more accurate service.

Lightspeed K-Series V2: More Power, More Personalization

We’ve also enhanced our integration with Lightspeed K-Series V2, making it more powerful and reliable than ever. Some of our key improvements include:

  • Synchronization of prepayments from Zenchef to Lightspeed.
  • Synchronization of walk-in reservations.
  • Support for multiple table assignments.
  • Full visibility of Zenchef tags, experiences, allergies, guest notes, and reservation notes directly in Lightspeed.

Flexible Booking Updates: Modify Reservations with Payments

A highly requested feature is now available: guests can modify bookings that include a deposit, prepayment, or credit card guarantee.

This new feature allows guests to update their reservation details — such as date, time, and party size — without triggering any payment recalculation or charge movement. Restaurants retain full control over any financial adjustments, while guests get greater flexibility and a smoother experience.
